About the Role
This position supports the sales pipeline by contacting initial prospects, assessing their needs and qualifications, and passing validated leads to the sales team for follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Initiate contact with potential customers through phone and email
- Determine if prospects meet lead qualification criteria
- Collect and document relevant customer information
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Follow up with leads according to established timelines
- Communicate lead status updates to sales representatives
- Adhere to company guidelines for lead handling
- Identify customer needs through structured questioning
- Escalate qualified opportunities to the appropriate team members
- Meet performance targets for lead volume and quality
- Participate in training sessions to improve qualification techniques
- Stay updated on product offerings and market positioning
- Respond to customer inquiries within service level expectations
- Ensure compliance with data privacy policies
- Coordinate with team leads for guidance on edge cases
- Report weekly on lead conversion metrics
- Use feedback to refine outreach approach
- Manage high volumes of inbound and outbound interactions
- Maintain professionalism in all customer communications
- Contribute to process improvements based on field observations
Nice to Have
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Background in B2B sales environments
- Previous remote work experience
- Knowledge of lead scoring methodologies
