Keyrock is hiring a Junior Digital Assets Trader for the EMEA time zone to support our core algorithmic trading business, primarily across our Digital FX Desk. We're actively building the future of digital assets.
What You'll Do
- Support the deployment of new algorithms, clients, and markets.
- Keep a global updated view of all algorithmic trading operations.
- Execute trades across crypto spot, perpetuals, and options; and hedge both crypto and FX related exposure.
- Perform trading operations including asset rebalancing across multiple CEXs and DEXs; and facilitate settlement of assets against several trading counterparties.
- Take preventative actions by spread adaptations and configuring conditions, pricing, and exposure thresholds on algorithmic trading bots.
- Monitor closely that client service level agreements are met and evaluate trading performance using internal, exchange, and on-chain data.
- Keep track of the treasury, and liaise with the finance team on accounting for asset balances across operations.
- Keep track of and report technical and financial problems and provide support to the dev team for improvement.
- Develop trading indicators for use in live trading strategies with a focus on SLA adherence and alpha generation.
- Perform post trade analysis to improve trading strategies.
- Act as a point of call internally on trading and market related insights.
- Liaise with the Commercial team to provide insights to market making clients on trading performance and service level agreement requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in a quantitative field (2.1 equivalent or above)
- Strong analytical ability
- Able to act and to take decisions under pressure
- Understanding of digital assets and blockchain technologies (particularly CEXes and DEXes)
- Strong attention to details
- Adaptable and a strong team player
- Good communicator
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have
- Some cryptocurrency trading experience across CEXes and DEXes
- An understanding of key tradfi asset classes e.g., options, futures, FX from an educational perspective
- Exposure to Python or some other programming language
