About the Role
The selected candidate will assist in analyzing, maintaining, and improving computer systems, providing technical support, and working with teams to resolve system-related challenges.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate current system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems
- Support network operations and ensure system reliability
- Document technical procedures and maintain system records
- Collaborate with IT staff to implement system upgrades
- Monitor system alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner
- Participate in testing new software and system configurations
- Provide user support and resolve helpdesk tickets
- Assist in data backup and recovery operations
- Follow established security protocols and compliance standards
- Help integrate new technologies into existing systems
- Track system performance metrics and generate reports
- Support cloud-based services and remote access solutions
- Assist in managing user accounts and access permissions
- Participate in project planning and technical documentation
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network configuration issues
- Work with vendors to resolve technical support cases
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
- Assist in system migration and deployment tasks
- Ensure adherence to change management procedures
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and vulnerability assessments
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed
- Assist in training end users on system tools and features
- Contribute to system architecture discussions
- Follow ITIL best practices where applicable
