About the Role
The developer will design, customize, and troubleshoot Joomla websites while maintaining high standards of code quality and system efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Joomla websites using PHP
- Customize Joomla components, modules, and templates
- Troubleshoot and debug existing Joomla applications
- Ensure websites meet performance and security standards
- Collaborate with team members on project implementation
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
- Integrate third-party extensions and APIs
- Optimize websites for speed and usability
- Support ongoing maintenance and updates
- Follow best practices in software development
- Respond to technical issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and team discussions
- Implement responsive design principles
- Work with database structures and queries
- Maintain version control using Git
- Adapt to evolving project requirements
- Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices
- Assist in testing new features and updates
- Deploy websites to production environments
- Monitor site performance and fix issues
- Follow secure coding standards
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Stay current with Joomla updates and PHP trends
