Upstream Rehabilitation is hiring an RCM AR Associate – Workers’ Compensation to play a key role in securing timely and accurate reimbursement for aged accounts receivable. You will work closely with employers and insurance adjusters to resolve outstanding claims and ensure prompt payment.
What You'll Do
- Review and resolve unpaid accounts to secure accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Ensure payments received are correct, complete, and properly documented.
- Correct and update account information, including payer verification, EOB review, adjustments, transfers, and task creation.
- Meet established productivity standards while maintaining high quality in all account actions.
- Identify and communicate trends, discrepancies, or issues to the team and supervisor.
- Stay current on state rules, regulations, payer requirements, and relevant publications, and share updates with the team.
- Complete all tasks, follow-ups, and escalations within required timelines.
- Participate in required remote meetings with live video.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle, including Medicare and Commercial insurance, within a high-production environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of Revenue Cycle experience with Medicare and Commercial insurance in a high-production setting.
