Comtech LLC is hiring a Java/J2EE Developer

Responsibilities

  • Support a development team in analyzing, designing, and building integrated project solutions.
  • Help establish and document integration standards and best practices for the project team.
  • Guide team members in mastering advanced programming methods and technical skills.
  • Utilize Rational Software Developer tools to ensure code quality, integrity, and security.
  • Specify and verify service WSDL definitions and XML schema structures.
  • Design and implement solutions aligned with defined technical and business requirements.
  • Build enterprise applications using the J2EE platform.
  • Integrate system components into end-to-end business workflows within a Case Management system.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Rational Application Developer (RAD).
  • Construct composite applications with WebSphere Integration Developer (WID).
  • Implement and test data access layers using JDBC.
  • Write complex SQL and PLS/SQL queries for Oracle databases, focusing on transaction integrity.
  • Analyze, implement, and troubleshoot database transaction management processes.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing and address identified software defects.
  • Produce and evaluate technical documentation across all phases of the software lifecycle.
  • Assess emerging technologies through research, proof of concept, and proof of technology initiatives.
