EX Squared is hiring a Java Development Leader - (Remote - Spain)

Jobgether is looking for a Java Development Leader to oversee the development of advanced digital logistics solutions. You will lead a talented team, ensuring the design and implementation of high-performance, scalable microservices while driving innovation for robust cloud-based systems.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex microservices using Java and AWS cloud services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a distributed team of developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements aligned with business goals.
• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to enhance team performance.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Java developer or solution architect, specializing in microservices-based systems.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, with hands-on experience in EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and ECS.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to streamline development and deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a remote team.
• Proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Docker and ECS.
• German and/or Spanish language skills.
