About the Role
This role is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of people operations and total rewards, supporting a growing organization through scalable systems, equitable compensation frameworks, and compliance excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable people operations infrastructure
- Oversee total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, and equity structures
- Ensure pay equity and compliance across diverse geographic regions
- Develop data-driven insights to inform workforce planning and reward strategies
- Partner with leadership to align people strategies with business objectives
- Manage HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy across people platforms
- Drive process improvements in payroll, benefits administration, and compliance reporting
- Establish global compensation frameworks that support hiring and retention
- Lead annual compensation planning cycles and equity refresh processes
- Collaborate with legal and finance teams on regulatory requirements and audits
- Design and maintain job leveling architectures
- Support international expansion with localized rewards and compliance strategies
- Build and manage vendor relationships for benefits, payroll, and HR tech
- Create transparent reward communication strategies for employees
- Ensure alignment between performance management and compensation decisions
- Develop dashboards and metrics to track people ops effectiveness
- Lead internal equity analyses and external benchmarking efforts
- Improve onboarding and offboarding workflows related to rewards
- Maintain compliance with labor laws and tax regulations affecting compensation
- Scale HR operations in line with company growth and funding stages
- Foster a culture of fairness and transparency in reward practices
- Evaluate emerging trends in total rewards and recommend adaptations
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion goals through reward system design
- Manage people analytics to assess compensation competitiveness
- Drive audit readiness for payroll, benefits, and equity records
