Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end Japanese voice production, starting from finalized scripts through to final delivered assets.
- Organize and oversee remote or in-studio recording sessions, ensuring all outputs meet required performance and quality benchmarks.
- Guide voice performances through direction or feedback, focusing on accurate pronunciation, emotional tone, and character authenticity.
- Identify, hire, and integrate Japanese voice actors that match the specific needs of each project.
- Lead casting activities such as auditions, candidate evaluation, final selection, and contract arrangements.
- Develop and sustain relationships with Japanese voice performers and relevant industry professionals.
- Ensure seamless collaboration between Japanese voice production and internal departments including voice supervision, storytelling, and platform development.
- Handle re-records, additional recordings, and unresolved lines promptly to stay on schedule.
- Uphold consistent quality across all voice deliverables.
- Work with internal staff and external contributors to finalize Japanese scripts for production use.
- Support alignment between Japanese audio and other language versions in timing, pacing, and emotional expression.
- Offer insights on improving tools and platforms to better serve Japanese script creation and voice workflows.
- Create efficient, scalable processes and standards for Japanese voice production.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies such as AI-generated voices or automated pipelines to increase productivity.
- Collaborate closely with the Production team based in Vietnam across time zones and regions.
- Deliver regular updates on casting status, production progress, and potential risks.
- Serve as the main liaison connecting Japanese voice talent, global teams in Vietnam and the U.S., and Japanese-speaking clients.
