About the Role
The IT Support Technician will troubleshoot and support desktop systems, mobile devices, and network infrastructure. This role ensures minimal downtime and optimal performance across all technology platforms used by clients.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software malfunctions
- Provide remote and on-site technical support
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications
- Manage user accounts and permissions in directory services
- Support email and collaboration platforms
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
- Assist with backup and recovery procedures
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment
- Deploy workstations and mobile devices
- Document technical issues and resolutions
- Escalate complex problems to senior engineers
- Monitor system performance and alerts
- Apply security patches and updates
- Support cloud-based services and remote access tools
- Ensure compliance with data protection policies
- Respond to service tickets promptly
- Train end users on basic technical functions
- Maintain accurate records of support activities
- Assist with printer and peripheral setup
- Collaborate with vendors for warranty and repair services
- Perform routine system maintenance
- Support video conferencing and meeting technology
- Enforce password and access control policies
- Assist in disaster recovery planning
- Follow established IT service management procedures
Compensation
$50,000 - $60,000 annually
