About the Role

The Plus Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support and assistance to our staff, both in-house and remotely. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining our operational efficiency by managing computer systems, networks, and equipment. What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support, addressing issues with computer systems, hardware, software, and networks, both on-site and remotely.
  • Perform regular maintenance and monitoring of company IT equipment to ensure optimal functionality in office and remote environments.
  • Manage IT inventory, track equipment status, and assist in maintaining detailed records of hardware and software assets.
  • Prepare, format, and configure laptops and other devices for new staff members, ensuring they are equipped with necessary applications and security protocols.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software; diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Install and connect various IT hardware such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Provide guidance and support for non-technical staff, including training on company systems and remote work tools.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and IT service providers as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, particularly in internal staff support and equipment maintenance, in both in-office and remote settings.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications and the ability to provide support on these tools.
  • Troubleshooting skills across various technology platforms.
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities, suitable for both in-person and virtual communication.
  • Experience with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of remote troubleshooting techniques and network security practices.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, Microsoft Azure & Intune, and Apple Business Manager.
