Mainstay Labs Inc. is looking for an IT Support Lead to manage and improve our day-to-day IT operations. This hands-on, business-facing role serves as the primary point of contact for all things IT, ensuring smooth support and reliable access to tools to keep the team productive and secure.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, and access issues across tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, and Jamf.
- Manage IT onboarding and offboarding, ensuring new hires are set up for success and departing employees have access removed promptly and securely.
- Maintain core IT systems by managing user accounts, permissions, and device management within our remote-first environment.
- Create and maintain internal documentation, including how-to guides and IT policies, to make support more efficient.
- Collaborate with the people team on onboarding workflows and partner with engineering to stay aligned on security protocols.
- Continuously look for ways to improve IT processes, reduce manual work, and proactively resolve recurring issues.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT, with a background that includes system administration, SaaS management, and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Okta, Jamf, Apple Business Manager, and Rippling.
- Comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of issues and navigating ambiguity without needing step-by-step instructions.
- Communicates clearly and effectively, and can partner seamlessly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where priorities shift and autonomy is essential.
