As the on-site IT support anchor, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of end-user computing systems within a demanding AI-driven data center environment. Your work ensures seamless operations, strict security compliance, and reliable device management across the organization.
What You'll Do
Act as the first point of contact for resolving hardware and software issues affecting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and network equipment. Diagnose and fix technical problems efficiently while documenting issues thoroughly before escalating to remote IT or Security teams when necessary.
Prepare and configure devices running macOS, Windows, and iOS/iPadOS for new employees and contractors, ensuring they are enrolled in MDM solutions and linked to identity providers prior to onboarding. Manage the complete device lifecycle—from procurement to secure disposal—by maintaining detailed asset records, including serial numbers, user assignments, locations, and retirement status.
Handle equipment returns during offboarding, performing secure data wiping and chain-of-custody procedures in line with ITAD standards. Support compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks by adhering to documented IT policies, contributing to audit evidence collection, and identifying areas where security policies may need refinement.
Collaborate with IT, HR, and Security teams to align physical access controls, device security, and on-site systems with company-wide policies. Keep comprehensive records of all support activities, asset changes, and standard operating procedures in the internal knowledge base to ensure continuity and transparency.
