About the Role
The engineer will diagnose and resolve technical issues, support onboarding, maintain systems, and collaborate with teams to improve IT infrastructure and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to employee requests for technical help via ticketing system
- Diagnose and fix desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues
- Troubleshoot local network and internet connectivity problems
- Install and configure operating systems and software applications
- Manage user accounts and permissions in directory services
- Support video conferencing and collaboration tools
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and licenses
- Assist with onboarding new employees and setting up workstations
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior engineers
- Document solutions and update knowledge base articles
- Perform routine system updates and security patches
- Support two-factor authentication and identity management tools
- Troubleshoot printing and peripheral device issues
- Assist with internal IT projects and system migrations
- Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies
- Provide after-hours support on a rotational basis
- Work with third-party vendors for hardware repairs
- Configure and support virtual private network access
- Assist with cloud-based service integrations
- Train staff on proper use of IT systems and tools
- Monitor system performance and report anomalies
- Support hardware refresh cycles and asset disposal
- Troubleshoot email and calendar synchronization issues
- Assist with mobile device management enrollment
- Maintain documentation for IT processes and configurations
