About the Role

Evolution is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide first and second line IT support for our internal users and contractors, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our local IT infrastructure within a dynamic and creative environment.

What You'll Do

  • Provide first and second line IT support for company internal users and contractors.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot user laptops, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other office IT equipment.
  • Configure, administer, and update Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems on user devices.
  • Manage the user device environment using device management tools.
  • Create and manage user accounts in Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365, and other systems.
  • Perform physical network tasks including patching, device installation, port assignment, and cabling.
  • Install and maintain server and network equipment and handle cable patching in data centers and server rooms.
  • Keep inventory of IT purchases and assets, creating and updating records, assigning equipment to users, auditing inventory, and performing decommissioning.
  • Work closely with facility and security teams to resolve security issues.
  • Constantly develop and improve local IT infrastructure.
  • Provide IT asset management according to internal procedures.
  • Perform service and system operations and regular or ad-hoc maintenance to fulfill service availability and security requirements.
  • Resolve incidents in a timely manner, escalate to third-party suppliers, and conduct problem analysis and resolution.
  • Provision system updates and deployments according to respective internal procedures.
  • Fulfill user requests according to established SLAs.
  • Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, related to this position or IT infrastructure.
  • Handle logistics and manage inventory and equipment between locations.

What We're Looking For

  • Secondary (higher, special, etc.) education.
  • Excellent fluent written and spoken Armenian and English.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create structured documentation.
  • Teamwork skills, ability to make decisions, solve problems independently and in a team, and work under high-pressure conditions.
  • Fundamental IT skills in hardware, OS, applications, networking, and security.
  • Experience in deployment and support of Microsoft Windows, MacOS, iOS, Linux operating systems, and business software.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting user IT device hardware and software.
  • Experience using and managing workstations in a heterogeneous environment, remote management services, file sharing, collaboration, email, and directory services.
  • Fundamental knowledge of IT procedures and security principles.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications in IT systems administration or support.
  • Enterprise employment experience.
