Groupe Clarins is seeking an IT Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support and manage all IT hardware, infrastructure, and applications for our Australian operations. You will be the local point of contact, ensuring smooth business operations, enforcing cybersecurity compliance, and acting as a key liaison between local users and regional IT teams.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day technical support for staff in the office and stores, resolving issues with Windows, iOS/MacOS, mobile devices, networks, and printers.
- Manage software installation, updates, and support for local applications including Clienteling, BI & Reporting, Automation/AI processes, and EDI.
- Ensure all devices are operational and tracked, managing inventory, backups, and performing device imaging and configuration.
- Maintain the physical security and climate control of local server rooms.
- Act as the local liaison for issues requiring regional or central support, raising tickets via Landesk or Jira, and understanding SLAs and escalation paths.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, patching, device encryption, and Australian privacy laws, and educate users on IT policies.
- Manage local IT vendors and service providers, and coordinate hardware/software procurement within budget.
- Forecast and manage local IT operational expenses, including budget planning and tracking, and maintain asset lifecycle plans.
- Coordinate local rollouts of regional or central initiatives, such as Windows 11 deployment, and act as the point person for pilot or user acceptance testing.
- Ensure local decisions, vendors, and tools align with corporate standards and the strategic roadmap, feeding local needs into central planning.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in IT support, including managing software/hardware requirements, device imaging, configuration, and inventory monitoring.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a strong customer focus.
- High proficiency in using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office 365 applications like Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Advanced skills in providing end-user support and troubleshooting for Windows and iOS laptops and mobile devices.
- Strong background in managing, implementing, and deploying infrastructure technologies like Windows Server and LAN/WAN.
- Experience using ticketing systems such as Landesk and Jira.
- Familiarity with ITIL and COBIT frameworks.

This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, Australia, with up to 2 days of remote working per week.
