Bombardier is looking for an Analyst, Engineering Program Management to lead financial planning, analysis, and governance for our engineering programs. In this role, you will own the overall budgeting process, coordinate financial management across the company, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
What You'll Do
- Lead ongoing business case updates throughout the program to guide investment decisions and product evolution.
- Take full ownership of the overall budgeting process, including collection, consolidation, monitoring, and strategic control.
- Ensure coordination across the company’s various financial management levels to guarantee consistency and alignment.
- Define key budget milestones and mobilize cross-functional teams to achieve critical program targets.
- Oversee budget governance by establishing, tracking, and interpreting performance criteria like KPIs and variances.
- Present in-depth financial analyses and provide well-founded budgetary recommendations to leadership.
- Identify, consolidate, analyze, and manage financial risks and opportunities to optimize program performance.
- Oversee the management of a significant volume of financial data, ensuring rigor, quality, and reliability.
- Contribute actively to the design and implementation of advanced management tools, including financial models.
- Operate within a high-level multifunctional environment, interacting with senior leadership and diverse teams.
What We're Looking For
- A university degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of pertinent experience.
- Initiative and a results-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute to program success.
- Strong financial management, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- An organized, autonomous person with leadership skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with the ability to influence at different organizational levels.
- Mastery of MS Office, TEAMS, Excel, and PowerPoint with knowledge in database management.
- Experience using and understanding ERP systems.
- Bilingualism with good communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with complex products in a production environment.
- Knowledge of SAP.
