BCC SISTEMI INFORMATICI SPA is seeking an IT Solution Reliability Engineer Specialist. You will act as an operational architect, ensuring that complex software solutions delivered to clients are scalable, resilient, and performant. You will work closely with development teams and the client to eliminate bottlenecks and automate product lifecycle management, with direct responsibility for the stability and efficiency of solutions distributed on Cloud platforms.
What You'll Do
- Ensure distributed software solutions meet agreed availability and performance standards and cloud security criteria (IAM, data encryption, network policies).
- Monitor cloud resource usage to avoid waste, optimizing instances, storage, and databases.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could cause service interruptions or performance degradation.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate reliability from the early stages of the product lifecycle.
- Systematically analyze failures to implement structural solutions that prevent recurrence.
- Promote an automation culture to eliminate manual tasks, reducing human error and increasing process efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Science and Technology.
- 3-5 years in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability roles.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of major cloud platforms and hybrid-cloud, multi-cloud architectures.
- Experience designing complex cloud-based IT architectures, from requirements gathering to solution design and representation, in heterogeneous application contexts.
- Understanding of cloud strategy, cloud adoption, and workload migration to the cloud.
- Knowledge of cloud service governance topics and FinOps methodology.
- Skills in application integration and API management.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience of at least 5 years in the ICT sector within banking or insurance institutions.
- Cloud solution architect certifications.
- Office and SQL language proficiency.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
