As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding enterprise customers through complex technical evaluations, aligning F5 Distributed Cloud solutions with their strategic goals.
What You’ll Do
- Translate customer business challenges into secure, automated cloud architectures using platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Lead technical discussions, design sessions, and proof-of-concept deployments that demonstrate real-world value.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify key decision-makers and secure technical validation across large-scale organizations.
- Architect end-to-end solutions involving Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and GitOps.
- Deliver compelling presentations and whiteboard sessions that clarify technical advantages and business impact.
- Support customers across the lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration of technologies like web application firewalls, DNS, API security, and content delivery networks.
- Partner with internal experts to refine best practices and share insights across the technical community.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, architecture, or engineering roles focused on cloud and application security.
- Proven ability to design and deploy solutions in multi-cloud environments at scale.
- Strong command of automation tools including Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and GKE.
- Familiarity with monitoring ecosystems like Prometheus, Datadog, and Grafana.
- Proficiency in scripting and development using Python, Go, Ruby, or similar languages.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Background in application delivery technologies including load balancing, DNS, and API protection.
