At Grifols, your work in healthcare IT has a direct impact: you help ensure our donation centers operate reliably, saving lives. We are looking for an IT Solution Architect / Application Manager to play a key role in our technological transformation. You will modernize our existing IT application landscape, implement new platforms and AI-powered solutions, and ensure the stable, independent operation of our systems.
What You'll Do
- Modernize our application landscape through upgrades, migrations, and hybrid cloud architecture (Azure/On‑Premise)
- Operate and support new and modernized applications (monitoring, patches, incident & problem management)
- Develop interfaces, integrations, and transformation roadmaps
- Help shape modern applications using cloud-native, container, and low-code/no-code approaches
- Lead the IT architecture board and coordinate with infrastructure, security, applications, and corporate IT
- Introduce and operationalize AI applications in the business
What We're Looking For
- At least two years of professional experience in IT architecture, application operations, or IT infrastructure
- Basic knowledge in scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Understanding of modern integration and architecture concepts (APIs, middleware, containerization, CI/CD)
- Enjoy communicating technical content understandably to non-technical audiences
- Good German (B2) and English language skills
Nice to Have
- Ideally a completed degree in (business) informatics, information systems, systems engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and hybrid infrastructures

- Compensation: €50,700 - €60,800 gross annual salary (40h full-time, depending on qualification)
