About the Role
The role involves leading financial planning and analysis for the IT function, driving budgeting processes, monitoring performance, and supporting strategic initiatives through accurate financial reporting and cross-departmental coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning and analysis activities for the IT department
- Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
- Monitor financial performance against targets and provide insights
- Collaborate with IT leadership to align financial strategy with business goals
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Support internal and external audits
- Analyze cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities
- Track and report on capital expenditures
- Maintain financial models and dashboards
- Coordinate with global finance teams
- Drive compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Assist in financial due diligence for projects
- Evaluate financial impact of IT initiatives
- Provide financial guidance during procurement processes
- Contribute to process improvements in financial operations
- Work closely with controllers in other business units
- Prepare executive-level financial summaries
- Manage financial aspects of vendor contracts
- Support transformation projects with financial oversight
- Ensure data integrity across financial systems
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in business or finance
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
- Experience in a global manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with IT service costing models
- Knowledge of digital transformation finance
- Experience with cloud infrastructure cost analysis
- Background in automation or industrial technology
- Proficiency in financial planning software
- Prior work in a controller role for IT
- International work experience
