As the IT Project Manager, you will guide technology projects through every phase of development, ensuring they meet defined objectives on time and within scope. You will take ownership of project planning, budget oversight, and risk management while leading diverse teams across technical and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of IT initiatives, including software and hardware development, from initiation to delivery
- Define project parameters, allocate resources, and establish realistic timelines and milestones
- Monitor progress closely to detect risks, adjust plans, and implement corrective actions when needed
- Collaborate with engineers to refine project templates and capture learnings for future improvements
- Compile comprehensive status reports and dashboards by gathering input from team members and stakeholders
- Facilitate alignment among cross-functional groups to ensure shared understanding and timely decision-making
- Support agile workflows by helping teams structure sprints and prioritize tasks effectively
- Review and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency and project outcomes
- Ensure all project communications, requirements, and decisions are accurately documented and accessible
Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate a solid foundation in project management principles and possess strong analytical abilities. Familiarity with ITIL frameworks is essential, along with proven experience in cross-functional collaboration across IT, security, HR, and business units. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to manage documentation and stakeholder engagement effectively.
Preferred candidates will hold a PMP or equivalent certification, have at least three years of project management experience, and an MBA. The role supports remote work for qualified individuals in Canada, with hybrid operations in select U.S. cities.
