The IT Project Manager will be instrumental in directing IT projects, guaranteeing timely delivery, precise scope management, and fiscal responsibility. The role demands superior organizational, communication, and leadership capabilities to effectively manage client relationships, project trajectories, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Serving as primary client communication liaison
- Supervising technical resources to ensure project plan adherence
- Maintaining meticulous project documentation
- Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Managing project scope through rigorous change control processes
- Overseeing project lifecycles from inception to completion
- Conducting stakeholder meetings and providing status updates
- Coordinating cross-functional team interactions
- Evaluating non-technical project hour estimates
- Performing post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 4 years project management experience in MSP/IT services environment
- Demonstrated client, vendor, and internal staff collaboration
- Proven track record managing complex IT projects
- PMP certification preferred
Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure and managed services
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Expertise in Professional Services Automation tools
- Familiarity with ITSM frameworks
