About the Role

McCormick is seeking an IT Procurement Senior Manager/Lead to take ownership of our global IT category strategy. In this role, you will be responsible for developing programs to optimize costs, rationalize our supply base, and deliver value while mitigating corporate risk.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage procurement for the IT category globally.
  • Lead negotiations for the procurement of all goods and services, delivering optimal total cost of ownership.
  • Develop and implement strategies to deliver cost savings and value enhancement while mitigating risk.
  • Promote a high level of stakeholder satisfaction by supporting divisional project needs and providing procurement leadership.
  • Participate in procurement planning and forecasting to establish cost savings and explain price variances.
  • Lead change management efforts, creating alignment internally with stakeholders and externally with suppliers.
  • Partner with IT, finance, and legal teams to ensure procurement aligns with business needs and compliance.
  • Act as an internal consultant with end-to-end procurement responsibility for major IT projects and strategic suppliers.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies for IT hardware, software, cloud services, and telecommunications.
  • Drive procurement process improvements, automation, and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (will accept 20+ years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree).
  • 8+ years in a Purchasing/Supply Chain environment with appropriate business experience.
  • 5+ years in project management, executing large, multiple, or cross-functional projects.
  • Proven experience leading major cost savings initiatives and cross-functional teams.
  • Thorough knowledge of industries for assigned categories.
  • Good understanding of material functionality, flow, and handling to optimize supply chain effectiveness.
  • McCormick product and business knowledge, including company priorities and strategic direction.
  • Ability to assess and analyze moderately complex business opportunities.
  • Ability to deal with diverse and sometimes conflicting priorities.
  • Sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.

Nice to Have

  • MBA or other equivalent Master's degree.
  • CPM or APICS certification.
  • Professional Project Management certification.
