Responsibilities
- Own IT support across EMEA and act as the main point of contact
- Provide hands-on L2/L3 support and ensure high service quality
- Manage core tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian) and align with global IT standards
- Manage device lifecycle (setup, security, compliance, offboarding)
- Maintain an accurate asset register and ensure device standardisation
- Support office networking (Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity)
- Ensure stable and secure infrastructure across locations
- Build automations, scripts, and workflows to improve efficiency
- Use APIs and tools to streamline provisioning and reporting
- Mentor and support a direct report as the team grows
- Help build and scale the IT function in EMEA
- Own IT onboarding/offboarding and access management
- Continuously improve processes and automate where possible
- Manage IT procurement and vendor coordination
- Ensure spend aligns with budget and business needs
- Ensure security standards are followed across systems and devices
- Support access control, endpoint hardening, and incident response
- Maintain clear documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base
- Support IT projects, rollouts, and system improvements
Requirements
- 7+ years in a Systems Administrator or IT Operations role with progressive responsibilities
- 2+ years experience supervising, mentoring, or leading IT team members
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, JSM, Confluence)
- Experience administering MDM platforms (FleetDM, Intune), including device onboarding and policy deployment
- Solid understanding of identity and access management, including 2FA, SAML, and SCIM integrations and cybersecurity practices
- Experience resolving advanced technical issues and acting as a Level 2/3 support escalation point
- Proven ability to produce and maintain documentation and knowledge base materials
- Exposure to project-based work with involvement in IT infrastructure or SaaS projects
Nice to Have
- Certification in AWS (SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect Associate)
- Experience with Terraform, GitOps, or other infrastructure-as-code practices
