Responsibilities
- Deliver timely technical assistance to internal staff experiencing device or software difficulties
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to computers, printers, and network connectivity
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and essential software applications
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across company platforms
- Support onboarding and offboarding procedures for new and departing employees
- Maintain accurate records of support tickets and resolution steps
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT personnel when necessary
- Assist with the deployment and setup of new hardware across offices
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies and data protection standards
- Provide guidance on safe computing practices and phishing awareness
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment repairs and service requests
- Maintain inventory of IT assets including laptops, phones, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot video conferencing tools and collaboration platforms
- Assist with Wi-Fi and local network troubleshooting for office locations
- Support mobile device management and remote access solutions
- Perform regular system updates and security patching
- Document common technical issues and create user-friendly resolution guides
- Assist in maintaining backup systems and data recovery processes
- Respond to after-hours incidents as part of an on-call rotation
