The IT Helpdesk Engineer will provide technical support to company users, resolving hardware and software issues across desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. This role involves troubleshooting, provisioning new systems, and ensuring smooth user adoption of IT systems through direct support and training at Varonis.
What You'll Do
- Handle service requests from company users
- Take direct ownership over problem resolution through own skills or by timely escalation
- Analyze and resolve user problems at first contact via phone and remote session
- Provide IT support for company users
- Support enterprise desktop, laptop, and mobile devices
- Provision new computers
- Assist with training users on IT systems
What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years of experience in the helpdesk field
- Knowledge in Microsoft systems – Windows 11, Office 365, Exchange
- Knowledge in MacOS and JAMF
- Knowledge with Active Directory
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in hardware and software issues
- Knowledge with GPO
- Knowledge with SCCM/Intune/Entra ID
- Knowledge of how VPN connections work
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize urgent requests
- High human relations awareness
- Excellent English
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- High level of responsibility, independence, and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience in hi-tech and enterprise-scale environments
- Experience with meeting room equipment and support
- Knowledge with PowerShell
- Experience with printer support and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in client networking (such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP – client-side)
