About the Role

What You'll Do

Act as the first point of contact for internal technical support, helping staff with issues related to computers, applications, and network connectivity. Use remote tools to quickly diagnose and fix problems, minimizing downtime and supporting continuous productivity.

Log and manage service requests in the ticketing system, clearly documenting each step taken and the final resolution. Support employee lifecycle processes by setting up user accounts, email, VPN access, and necessary software during onboarding, and ensuring secure deactivation when staff leave.

Work closely with IT and Compliance teams to maintain proper access controls and follow established procedures for system security and data protection.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to support Windows-based systems, MS Office applications, and standard business software
  • Experience using ticketing platforms and remote desktop tools to manage and resolve incidents
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, network fundamentals, VPN configurations, and endpoint security practices
  • At least one year of hands-on experience in an IT support or help desk role
  • Basic to intermediate English proficiency, with clear communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field
  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification

Work Mode

This is an on-site role located at the Constantia Office Park in Roodepoort. The schedule runs from Monday to Sunday with rotating days off. Core working hours are from 1 PM to 10 PM SAST.
