Denver, Colorado, United States On-site Employment

A2Z Sync is hiring an IT Generalist

About the Role

A2Z Sync is seeking an IT Generalist to support its technology infrastructure and employees in a full-time, on-site role at their Denver, CO office. The individual will manage IT operations including identity management, endpoint support, asset tracking, onboarding/offboarding, and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Support the administration of Okta Single Sign-On (SSO) and assist with user provisioning and de-provisioning across applications
  • Help maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies to ensure employees have the right level of access
  • Assist with the configuration and upkeep of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office 365
  • Support endpoint protection efforts using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Entra or Mosyle
  • Assist in monitoring Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools (e.g., SentinelOne) and flagging potential issues
  • Troubleshoot Mac and PC issues by analyzing system logs, event data, and diagnostic information
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets — laptops, monitors, peripherals, and accessories
  • Receive, configure, tag, and deploy hardware for new hires and equipment refresh cycles
  • Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and hardware returns with vendors
  • Manage secure device offboarding, including data wipe and hardware return processes
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for day-to-day office IT needs — printers, networking, cabling, and workspace setup
  • Set up and maintain conference room AV equipment, including displays and video conferencing systems
  • Prepare and configure workstations (Mac/PC) ahead of a new hire's start date
  • Conduct in-person IT orientation, covering account setup, security basics, and equipment walkthroughs
  • Ensure all access, software, and hardware is ready on Day 1
  • Manage the full offboarding process for departing employees — including confirming all system and application access has been revoked, wiping devices, and coordinating equipment return via shipping labels and logistics
  • Use AI tools — including Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot — to draft IT documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles
  • Leverage AI to research error codes, troubleshoot issues faster, and surface recommended fixes
  • Assist with scripting and automation tasks using AI-generated code, with proper review and testing before deployment
  • Stay current on emerging AI capabilities and look for opportunities to integrate them into everyday IT workflows
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets and provide in-person and remote technical support to employees
  • Monitor and report on IT service desk metrics such as ticket resolution rates and response times
  • Collaborate with Security Operations and other IT team members to ensure seamless system integration

  • Proficiency in setting up and maintaining office IT infrastructure including printers, networking, cabling, and AV systems
  • Experience providing in-person and remote technical support
