Evooq is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on IT Support Engineer to strengthen our global IT Operations team. Based in the Warsaw office, you will ensure employees across all Evooq and Edgelab locations have reliable, secure, and efficient access to the technology they need, working closely with teams across Europe and Asia to deliver both onsite and remote support.
What You'll Do
- Provide timely and effective onsite IT support for employees in the Warsaw office, ensuring minimal disruption to their workflows.
- Deliver high-quality remote support to colleagues in other international offices using remote access tools and collaboration platforms.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, and office equipment.
- Offer guidance and training to employees on the proper use of IT systems, tools, and security best practices.
- Produce clear, concise user guides, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT hardware: procurement, inventory, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Prepare and configure devices for new hires, ensuring smooth and secure onboarding.
- Maintain and improve physical office IT infrastructure, including printers, telephony systems, e-screens, meeting room equipment, and access points.
- Perform basic network cabling and ensure that office wiring and device placement follow best practices.
- Support local and remote network environments, including routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Monitor network performance, assist with troubleshooting connectivity issues, and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.
- Collaborate with the central IT operations team to implement improvements, enforce standards, and ensure consistent experience across all locations.
- Create, modify, and deprovision user accounts across platforms such as Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Slack.
- Manage group memberships, access permissions, and application entitlements following company policies.
- Ensure compliance with security guidelines, including MFA enforcement, password standards, and provisioning workflows.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation for devices, configurations, and procedures.
- Contribute to building internal IT best practices for hardware management, security, onboarding, and operations.
- Suggest and help implement improvements to IT workflows, automation, and support processes.
- Work closely with engineering teams, security, and operations to ensure seamless alignment on IT and security standards.
- Communicate issues, solutions, and updates clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Manage expectations effectively and prioritize requests based on urgency and business impact.
- Travel occasionally to international Evooq and Edgelab offices for onsite IT support, installations, audits, or office setup projects.
