- Define enterprise automation architecture, including frameworks, standards, guardrails, reusable patterns, and reference designs.
- Establish a unified automation ecosystem across all IT functions aligned to the CoE’s vision.
- Develop technical roadmaps for automation platforms, CI/CD practices, IaC frameworks, integration patterns, and event-driven automation.
- Contribute to building and maturing WSP’s Automation CoE operating model.
- Partner with IT teams to identify automation opportunities that improve reliability, reduce manual effort, and enhance service delivery.
- Drive adoption of standard toolsets, coding practices, design reviews, and automation quality checks.
- Architect automation solutions across IT domains including cloud provisioning, network and security operations, identity and access workflows, endpoint automation, ITSM fulfillment, observability, and automated remediation.
- Develop reusable modules, IaC templates, pipelines, orchestration logic, API integrations, and automation libraries.
- Implement automation using modern toolsets like Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, GitHub/GitLab pipelines, ServiceNow, and Azure Automation.
- Ensure automations are secure, auditable, observable, and scalable.
- Define guardrails that enable autonomy while protecting security and compliance.
- Embed IAM, secret management, least privilege, and auditability requirements into automation patterns.
- Establish version control practices, pipeline controls, code reviews, and lifecycle governance.
- Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, Cybersecurity, EUC, and Operations teams to uplift automation capability.
- Lead architecture reviews, automation workshops, and design sessions.
- Mentor engineers and promote an automation-first culture across IT.
