Responsibilities

  • Address and resolve end user inquiries and technical problems promptly while managing high-pressure interactions and overseeing issue escalation and resolution
  • Diagnose and fix desktop-related issues involving hardware, software, access permissions, security settings, and business applications
  • Offer technical support for various devices and systems including computers, servers, printers, networking infrastructure, phones, mobile devices, copiers, wireless networks, and audiovisual equipment
  • Utilize foundational Active Directory skills to set up user accounts, reset passwords, and manage group memberships
  • Demonstrate understanding of mobile device management platforms and device provisioning procedures
  • Develop and maintain support documentation to guide staff and deliver training sessions when necessary
  • Engage with users to identify, analyze, and resolve technical problems related to hardware, software, or networking
  • Collaborate with laboratory and office staff to assess technology needs for hardware and software solutions
  • Deliver IT training content effectively to diverse audiences
  • Provide reliable technical support to senior executives and board-level personnel
