Affect is looking for a part-time Mental Health Therapist licensed in Iowa to join our remote care team. You will provide individual psychotherapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms to support members with a wide range of mental health needs. What You'll Do
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and collaboratively develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide individual psychotherapy sessions via secure telehealth platforms.
- Support members with a wide range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, with flexibility to work with members with substance use disorders at times.
- Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Coordinate care as needed and contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
- Participate in clinical team meetings and optional case consultations.
- Adhere to HIPAA and all applicable state licensure regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Active and verifiable license from one of the following Iowa licenses: LISW, LMFT, or LMHC, as well as your state of residence if it is not Iowa.
- All credentials must be verified through the State Board's website as part of the application process.
- Experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, private practice, or telehealth settings.
- Strong communication and clinical skills with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach.
- Comfort with EMRs, Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and telehealth tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with professionalism and integrity.
- Have a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace and reliable internet.
