As an Investment Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of investment processing operations. Your primary responsibility will be the thorough review and validation of incoming applications, ensuring all documentation meets required standards and service level agreements are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
You will enter and manage investment data within the WealthServ platform, coordinate with financial advisors to resolve missing information or signatures, and confirm submission details via email. You'll execute trades and transaction updates in the system, conduct follow-ups on asset transfers, and maintain current and accurate records through ongoing data verification.
This role involves regular interaction with back-office platforms, including WealthServ and various insurance carrier portals. You will respond to incoming email inquiries, support application workflows, and contribute to process improvements that reduce the need for letters of instruction. Work is performed with autonomy, requiring sound judgment in managing timelines and priorities.
Qualifications and Experience
You bring at least three years of experience in the insurance or financial services sector, with a solid understanding of investment products—particularly segregated funds. You have completed post-secondary education or an equivalent program, and are proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with WealthServ is considered a strong asset.
