Veolia Environnement SA is hiring an Investment Analyst and Financial Modeling professional for its Madrid offices. Reporting to the Director Financiero de Residuos Municipales, you will play a central role in financial planning and strategic analysis for the Municipal Waste business.
What You'll Do
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and multi-year strategic plans.
- Build complex financial models for DCF analysis, valuations, sensitivity analysis, and pro-forma statements.
- Analyze budget variances, track financial KPIs, and prepare executive reports.
- Evaluate project, client, and business line profitability using key indicators (EBITDA, ROCE, IRR, NPV).
- Optimize working capital, project cash flows, and manage liquidity.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, PGC), coordinate consolidation, and oversee external audits.
- Manage tax obligations (VAT, Personal Income Tax, Corporate Tax) and maintain relationships with tax advisors.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
- At least 5 years of experience in the listed functions.
- Mandatory B2 level English.
- Availability for occasional travel.
Nice to Have
- Desirable knowledge in financial modeling, company valuation, investment analysis, and risk management.
Team & Environment
You will report directly to the Finance Director for the Municipal Waste division.
