Boston Scientific is hiring an Interventional Oncology Clinical Specialist to join a team where collaboration and clinical expertise are key. This role focuses on building strong relationships within the lab and operating room environment to support physicians and staff.
What You'll Do
- Assist in executing a regional plan that involves clinical, sales, and service support to improve market share and service quality.
- Serve as the primary clinical resource for case coverage, basic troubleshooting, specialty product usage, and customer training.
- Attend cases in customer accounts and advise physicians on clinical attributes and techniques associated with our products.
- Educate customers on product merits and proper usage through presentations and demonstrations across various formats.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing creative, feasible solutions.
- Manage consignment inventory tracking, semiannual audits, expired product, and returns.
- Ensure timely collection and reporting of required medical documentation.
- Fully support the Quality Policy by building quality into all work and maintaining compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare technical certification combined with work experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- 3+ years of experience working in a clinical setting.
Nice to Have
- Previous Interventional Oncology and Interventional Radiology experience.
- 3 years of competitive field clinical experience or a minimum of 6 full years in a related clinical field.
- Proven ability to manage a large number of accounts and travel.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be coached and directed by teammates.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan.
