Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans with flexibility for adjustments throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to address the varied learning needs of all students
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and developmental milestones
- Apply evidence-based instructional strategies in daily lesson planning and classroom delivery
- Establish and maintain appropriate student behavior and classroom discipline
- Foster an engaging and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use approved curricula that reflect the cultural, linguistic, and educational diversity of the student population
- Support and uphold school-wide behavioral and cultural expectations
- Engage with families through regular communication and meetings about student academic and emotional development
- Integrate technology into classroom instruction to enhance student learning outcomes
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities as required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication and teamwork
- Complete additional assigned duties as needed
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $41,000–$55,000. Starting pay within this range may vary based on location, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
