Boehringer Ingelheim is offering a Microbiology Laboratory Internship focused on environmental monitoring and water systems. In this role, you will gain first-hand experience in laboratory operations, review and analyze monitoring results, and support data review for critical reports, contributing to our mission of improving life for present and future generations.
What You'll Do
- Learn to review results, sampling, and records within the Global EM environmental monitoring management system.
- Collaborate in data review for the preparation of environmental monitoring and water systems reports.
- Learn the standard operating procedures of the Microbiology Laboratory and environmental monitoring department.
- Participate in departmental meetings to learn about teamwork and activity coordination.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Microbiology or Health Sciences.
- A high level of proficiency in both Spanish and English.
- Availability to start on April 24, 2026, for a potential 12-month internship agreement.
Nice to Have
- Technical knowledge of Microbiology Laboratory operations, including general laboratory techniques, sampling procedures, and aseptic techniques.
- Strong competencies in teamwork, communication, flexibility, autonomy, and initiative.
