About the Role

AbbVie is offering an internship for ongoing students to join our Human Resources department as part of the Talent & Culture team in Germany. You will gain deep insights into HR work at a global pharmaceutical company and play a hands-on role in developing and implementing talent development initiatives and cultural programs.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative support for organizing and conducting trainings and workshops.
  • Assist in coordinating onboarding programs and welcome days for new employees.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of training needs and training feedback.
  • Create, maintain, and update training materials.
  • Prepare data for training reports and analyses.
  • Support the preparation and execution of employee surveys.
  • Assist in analyzing and preparing survey results.
  • Participate in planning, coordinating, and accompanying company events.
  • Collaborate with various HR teams and external partners to implement Diversity & Inclusion projects.
  • Maintain the HR portal and internal communication channels.
  • Prepare presentations on talent and culture topics.
  • Support the documentation of processes and best practices.
  • Support the collection, preparation, and analysis of HR-relevant data.
  • Assist in the preparation and follow-up of project and team meetings.
  • Support HR projects, including in the area of Change Management.

What We're Looking For

  • Ongoing studies in human resources, business psychology, business administration, or a comparable field, with at least the 4th semester completed.
  • A structured, independent, and reliable way of working.
  • Enjoy working in diverse teams and the ability to develop solutions collaboratively.
  • A proactive personality with the desire to contribute your own ideas and take responsibility.
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and interest in working with data.
  • Very good communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in topics related to corporate culture as well as equal opportunity, diversity & inclusion.

Nice to Have

  • First practical experience in the HR environment, for example through internships or working student activities.

  • MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Team & Environment

You will be part of a dynamic HR team and report to the Talent & Culture Manager Deutschland. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with other HR functions.

Work Mode

This is an onsite internship based in Ludwigshafen.
