WSP USA Inc. is looking for an Assistant Analyst to join our Canadian People & Culture team. In this role, you will provide essential coordination and processing support for key HR lifecycle processes, working closely with team members in Canada and iCRC to ensure smooth execution.
What You'll Do
- Perform daily administration and maintenance of employee records in the HRIS system for new, existing, and departing employees.
- Create, process, and file all HR letters using pre-defined templates (e.g., offer letters, employment confirmations, ad hoc requests, and employment verifications).
- Work closely with the payroll team for the timely completion of new hire onboarding paperwork.
- Coordinate all background and reference check processes and report results per defined procedures.
- Administer additional HR processes as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or a related field.
- French Language certification and strong expertise in the French language.
- 2-5 years of relevant HR operations or HR shared services experience.
- Capable and comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision; able to work through new tasks proactively.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to work with a variety of people, needs, and personalities.
- Passion for taking on new responsibilities while remaining focused on a variety of unique or repetitive tasks.
- Ability to support work during UK/US business hours.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to global HR processes is an added advantage.
Team & Environment
You will work with the Canadian People & Culture team and collaborate with other team members in iCRC and Canada.
