Health Service Administrator (Newport, OR) Full-time position located in Newport, Oregon, with International Health and Medical Services, a global healthcare solutions provider operating in 92 countries. The organization specializes in customized medical and security risk management for international operations. Company Overview: International Health and Medical Services delivers comprehensive healthcare solutions worldwide, supporting government agencies, defense contractors, diplomatic missions, and humanitarian efforts. With 12,000 staff members and 5,200 medical professionals, they provide clinical services across 800 global sites. Project Status: Currently in proposal stage, awaiting contract award. Primary Responsibilities: - Serve as Responsible Health Authority overseeing facility healthcare operations - Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high-quality care standards - Collaborate with Clinical Director and Nurse Manager to establish care processes - Supervise healthcare program management and administrative operations - Monitor contracted services and ensure contractual adherence - Develop and implement local-level policies aligned with clinical activities - Manage facility budget and government-furnished medical equipment - Oversee documentation, reporting, and incident tracking - Travel up to 25% as directed by Unit Chief of Health Operations Qualifications: - Minimum bachelor's degree in healthcare administration - Three years leadership experience in uniformed services - Two years program management experience - Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Certification required within 12 months - Correctional health experience preferred - Strong leadership, adaptability, and decision-making skills - American Heart Association BLS certification - Basic First Aid training Physical Requirements: - Hazardous duty position - Ability to walk, jog, and perform physical exertions - Lift objects over 30 pounds - Perform emergency care standing or kneeling - Assist patients in high-stress environments Special Qualifications: - Minimum 21 years old - U.S. citizen or permanent resident - Pass medical examination - Successfully complete background investigation - Ability to obtain security clearances - Spanish proficiency preferred Compensation: - Hourly rate: $29-$32 - Comprehensive benefits package - Medical, dental, vision insurance - 401k plan - Paid time off - Annual bonus Equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
