About the Role

Clinical Director Full-time position located in Newport, Oregon Organization Overview: Global healthcare solutions provider specializing in medical and security risk management across 92 countries. Delivering comprehensive medical services through 800 sites worldwide, supporting government agencies, diplomatic missions, and international operations with 12,000 staff members, including 5,200 medical professionals. Project Status: Currently in proposal stage awaiting contract award Position Purpose: Seeking an experienced Healthcare Leadership Professional to manage clinical service delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care through strategic leadership and operational management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop departmental work schedules and plans - Maintain medical service accreditation standards - Create and monitor standard operating procedures - Serve as chief medical advisor to executive leadership - Execute clinical services mission action plans - Assess and validate patient care delivery systems - Ensure clinical practices align with evidence-based research - Recommend operational and clinical improvements - Develop clinical practice guidelines - Participate in medical training programs - Lead specialized committee functions - Provide continuing medical education - Conduct physician mentoring and peer reviews - Promote preventative healthcare practices - Perform comprehensive medical assessments - Conduct physical examinations - Order diagnostic testing - Administer treatments and medications - Manage medical record documentation - Coordinate specialist referrals - Provide emergency medical services - Oversee provider team performance - Monitor patient care quality - Manage complex medical scenarios Qualifications: - Active Oregon medical license - Doctor of Medicine/Osteopathy - Board certification in primary care - Minimum five years clinical experience - American Heart Association BLS certification - Adaptable to dynamic work environments - Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Physical Requirements: - Hazardous duty position - Ability to walk, jog, lift 30+ pounds - Perform CPR - Assist patient evacuations - Work in challenging environments Additional Qualifications: - U.S. citizenship - Minimum 21 years old - Pass medical examination - Background investigation - Potential security clearance - Spanish proficiency preferred Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, with comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, paid time off, and annual bonus.
