1840 & Company is seeking an International Purchasing Coordinator to manage and streamline our global procurement activities. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing goods and services from international suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials to support our operations.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate international purchasing processes from vendor selection to delivery
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with global suppliers
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with international vendors
- Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Resolve any issues related to international shipments or supplier performance
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in international purchasing, procurement, or supply chain coordination
- Strong negotiation skills and experience with international vendor management
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Effective communication skills in English
- Understanding of international trade documentation and logistics
