As a Sea Freight Logistics Intern, you will play an active role in supporting ocean freight operations for the Americas Region, with particular emphasis on shipments moving between the United States and Canada. You'll assist in managing end-to-end logistics processes for finished goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation across international networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support import and export activities, coordinating closely with internal teams and external partners to meet service level goals
- Monitor shipment progress and maintain accurate records using Excel and data visualization platforms
- Generate reports that enhance visibility into freight operations and performance trends
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost drivers and areas for improvement
- Assist with invoice management and cost tracking to support budget accuracy
- Use tools such as Tableau and Power BI to interpret data and support decision-making across the logistics team
- Take on additional tasks and short-term projects as needed to support team objectives
