About the Role

Gilead Sciences, Inc. is seeking an Intern in Research - Project Management for a summer internship designed to contribute to high-impact projects at an innovative organization. You will gain real-world experience while participating in professional development, networking, and community volunteer programs.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to high-impact, meaningful projects that advance the company's mission.
  • Work across functions such as Clinical Development, Regulatory, DMPK, NSP, and MedChem.
  • Use AI-driven analysis to identify trends, bottlenecks, and under-supported areas.
  • Showcase your work with a final presentation near the conclusion of the internship.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Masters, MBA, or PhD program at an accredited US university.
  • Must be a Rising Sophomore, Junior, Senior in undergrad or a Graduate or Doctoral Student.
  • Enrolled full-time in the Fall Semester after the internship.
  • Able to complete a 10-12 consecutive week internship between May and August.
  • Able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration.

Nice to Have

  • Preferred degree qualification: Undergrad.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to identify issues and seek solutions proactively.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusion and diversity in the workplace.
  • Efficient, organized, and able to handle short timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Stack

  • AI tools and platforms, including the Gilead-Copilot Suite.
  • MS Office Suite.

You will work across functions such as Clinical Development, Regulatory, DMPK, NSP, and MedChem.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $19.00 - $55.00 per hour.
  • Paid company holidays.
  • Sick time.
  • Housing stipends for eligible employees.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position at a designated company site. Relocation is required if necessary.
