Deloitte Deutschland is seeking an Intern M&A / Financial Due Diligence Korea. In the Strategy, Risk & Transactions - Advisory - Mergers & Acquisitions department, you will support clients throughout the entire M&A deal cycle, from strategy and due diligence to financing and implementation. Our team supports clients in buying, selling, or merging companies – strategically, financially, and legally.
What You'll Do
- Be a full-fledged member of the team from day one, taking on a variety of tasks.
- Analyze company information and create the basis for financial due diligence reports, financial factbooks, and similar reports.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial and company analyses as well as company presentations.
- Expand expertise through direct engagement in projects, regular trainings, and office training sessions.
- Contribute to the development of deal opportunities and M&A activities between Germany and Korea, potentially dealing with Korean clients.
What We're Looking For
- A finished Bachelor's degree.
- Ideally in an advanced semester of a Master's program in business administration, economics, law, business informatics, or German studies combined with one of the aforementioned fields.
- Very good performance and great commitment.
- Affinity for accounting and valuation topics.
- Confident handling of MS Office.
- Enthusiasm for challenging projects.
- Proactive, responsible way of working with strong initiative.
- Willingness to travel.
- Very good written and spoken Korean, German, and English.
Nice to Have
- Specialization in accounting or controlling.
- Initial experience in the field of M&A, auditing, controlling, or accounting.
