- Ability to safely handle, load, and transport field equipment is required.
- A valid driver’s license is necessary, and some evening or weekend availability may be expected.
- Candidates should have a strong interest in fieldwork and be able to lift at least 40 pounds consistently.
- Comfort working in remote, rural, and urban outdoor environments is essential.
- Field tasks may involve walking across uneven or steep ground in forests, fields, dry regions, riverbanks, and coastal zones.
- Interns must be prepared for exposure to adverse weather and physically demanding conditions.
- Occasional work outside standard business hours may be required.
- Interns may assist in compliance monitoring for active construction sites and may be near operating heavy machinery.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid driver’s license.
- Experience driving four-wheel-drive vehicles off-road is expected.
- Ability to work in an office setting for extended periods, including computer use at a desk.
- Prolonged computer work may present risks such as eye fatigue or back strain without proper ergonomic practices.
