The Customs Compliance Intern will participate in various activities to gain exposure to U.S. Customs and other government agencies regulatory requirements for imported goods into the U.S. The intern will support the Customs team, working on various tasks, projects, and data analytics related to the daily importation of goods. Opportunities to learn and support, include: - U.S. and Canadian Import/Export Control Regulations - Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code - Country of Origin (COO) determinations, including Free Trade Agreements (e.g. USMCA) - Corporate transformation/automation projects - Cross function collaboration - Data analytics
