Synchrony is looking for an Intern, Analytics to join the India Analytics Hub (IAH). This individual contributor role involves understanding business requests, extracting and transforming large datasets, and creating visualizations to deliver insights that support Synchrony's growth and profitability. This position is remote.
What You'll Do
- Leverage data and analytical tools to create and track business metrics.
- Triangulate and analyze data from multiple sources to draw insights and fulfill project objectives.
- Adhere to timely delivery, accuracy, and documentation aligned with audit procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Academic knowledge of SQL, SAS, or open-source concepts with the ability to write and execute queries.
- Basic understanding of core concepts and metrics in retail finance.
- Ability to articulate analysis outcomes into clear findings and recommendations.
- A relevant Master's degree (MSc/MTech/MBA/MA) in statistics, data science, or economics, or a BTech degree.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of SQL, SAS, or Python for data manipulation.
