About the Role

The specialist supports insurance sales activities by managing documentation, coordinating policy issuance, and assisting agents with client onboarding and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Process new insurance applications and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate with underwriting teams to track application status
  • Support sales agents with client documentation and form completion
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policy standards
  • Respond to client inquiries related to application progress
  • Prepare policy illustrations and benefit summaries for agents
  • Verify medical and financial underwriting requirements
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies in client applications
  • Facilitate communication between agents and internal departments
  • Monitor turnaround times for policy issuance
  • Organize and maintain electronic client records
  • Support licensing and registration processes for new agents
  • Provide administrative assistance during peak sales periods
  • Track key performance metrics for sales support functions
  • Assist in onboarding new clients after policy approval
  • Coordinate delivery of policy documents to clients
  • Update internal systems with policy issuance details
  • Support audit preparation by maintaining accurate records
  • Participate in training sessions for new processes or products
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales support workflows

Nice to Have

  • Insurance licensing (e.g., life and health)
  • Experience with Manulife or similar platforms
  • Post-secondary degree in business or related field
  • Bilingual communication skills
