About the Role
The specialist supports insurance sales activities by managing documentation, coordinating policy issuance, and assisting agents with client onboarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Process new insurance applications and ensure accurate data entry
- Coordinate with underwriting teams to track application status
- Support sales agents with client documentation and form completion
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal policy standards
- Respond to client inquiries related to application progress
- Prepare policy illustrations and benefit summaries for agents
- Verify medical and financial underwriting requirements
- Assist in resolving discrepancies in client applications
- Facilitate communication between agents and internal departments
- Monitor turnaround times for policy issuance
- Organize and maintain electronic client records
- Support licensing and registration processes for new agents
- Provide administrative assistance during peak sales periods
- Track key performance metrics for sales support functions
- Assist in onboarding new clients after policy approval
- Coordinate delivery of policy documents to clients
- Update internal systems with policy issuance details
- Support audit preparation by maintaining accurate records
- Participate in training sessions for new processes or products
- Identify opportunities to improve sales support workflows
Nice to Have
- Insurance licensing (e.g., life and health)
- Experience with Manulife or similar platforms
- Post-secondary degree in business or related field
- Bilingual communication skills
